| Oh, I didn't know that you didn't know that I had the Jumbo Suicune! I had made an announcement to the community when I had won and received her, that was several months back!
The seller had the Jumbo Suicune listed on eBay, they obviously did not know what they had! I sent them a message with an offer of $250.00 and they excepted...After shipping I would say everything cost me about $3.00. I used the Woolite carpet cleaning hand scrubber in one to clean her, so she now looks as good as new...;)

| Would you mind naming some of the figures in your compiled picture under the Grail!cune?
I see a few I'd like to look for eventually..
First figure in the first row
Second and fourth in the second row
Fourth in the 3rd row

| Greetings, in answer to your questions about the figures:
First figure in the first row - This is a rare snap together model with decals also called Pokémon Model 2000 Figures. The were released in 2000 by Bandai. I actually have 2, one still mint in box and one mint on display! I know that Fernchu just nabbed a Yahoo Japan lot with all three Legendary Beasts from this set. At one time I did have all three available for sale in my shop, but they sold and pretty fast I might add! It is common to find the figures from this set in lot auctions, but at times Suicune and Raikou have missing tails and the decals on all three tend to be damaged or missing!
Second and fourth in the second row- Those are both Tomy figures! The one roaring was released in 2001 and is common to find in lot auctions on both eBay and Yahoo Japan. The 2nd one is less common, the clear Tomy Suicune! I have been told there was one of 2 ways to get this figure. Way one was threw select movie theaters when Pokemon 4-Ever 1st hit Japan. Way 2 is that it was a bonus when you bought a special Tomy carrying case/play set! Again, Yahoo Japan lot auction are the way to go for this beauty...but beware the bidding war!!
Fourth in the 3rd row- This Suicune comes from Pokémon Action Figure series 4, series 5 is where the non-clear Suicune comes from. This type of figure has also been called Gashapon. For a little bit there, individuals of the clear SUicune Gashapon were appearing on Yahoo Japan! They seem to have vanished now butt he solid one is still readily available! The clear one is going to be more hard to come by, but I am sure it will surface again at some point on the Japanese auction sites!
First in the fourth row- That is the Suicune pencil topper which was released by Bandai! It also comes with a small sticker, keep an eye on the community for this one, sometimes group auctions for pencil topper sets come along and that is a great and cheap way to snag this particular piece...

| Just keep me posted! I have eye balled eBay in the past for the remaining cards that I need, but the cards have just never been high on the priority list! Though since my collection is winding down now would be a good chance to snag them...;)

I will have to agree though there are some very unique pieces of Suicune merchandise out there! That is one thing that does get to me, merchandise of the same exact pose over and over again! Charizard is a good example, but it seems they are finally breaking the mold some what with him!
I have been lurking in the shadows...but life has just been keeping me rather busy! I hope to get my other collections updated and soon, before my Mom needs me help with her moving to Colorado...

Not a problem about the postage. The new lot of stuff from Crescent should be here tomorrow, but sadly I probably will not be here to sign for the package. My Dad is coming for a visit, so that means it will have to be redelivered Saturday...I will leave the postal people a "love" letter on my door to redeliver the package. I am mentioning this for I know you have a reserve on one of the incoming keychains...Larvitar!

| My dear, I have a few questions for you RE: Suicune collection. My collecting is going well, but Suicune is the only dog for which I am lacking a plush. For the others I think I have them all, except Friends Entei and the Jumbo Grail Plush. :D
I recognise the first plush on your page is the TOMY plush, and then the second I believe is the Banpresto UFO Catcher in the same set as the Raikou and Entei. So what is the third plush you have pictures of? Before Jumbo Suicune. :D | | (Reply) (Thread) |
| The plush in question is a 2001 Banpresto plush. It is bigger then the Banpresto UFO plush and I believe it might have been a lottery prize, like the lottery Entei!
I got mine from Animemate.com. I had asked them if they ever came acrossed the 2001 Banpresto Suicune and their reply was, "We have one right now that is not listed on our site for it is missing an eye, we can sell it to you for $100.00." I was floored for this particular plush has gone for $200.00 and by now probably way more, I have notice that the UFO Suicune has raised considerably in price here recently! I asked them what other flaws the plush had and they replied, "None, it is mint with tags otherwise..."
Obviously, I took her and made a new eye which was no biggie! Good luck is all I can say, the 2001 Banpresto seems to be just as rare as the Jumbo Suicune plush!

I did just recently become aware of the services of animemate and snagged myself the regular Suicune Banpresto catcher though, so at least I have that complete set of the dogs! :D

| Out of the 3 Legendary Beasts, the Jumbo Suicune plush seems to appear the most. Just keep an eye on eBay of Yahoo Japan, for you never know...;)
